Welcome to Saint George Gournes Bay. By making a reservation or using our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking your stay.

1. General Information

Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: By 11:00 AM

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and additional charges.

2. Booking Terms & Payment Policies

2.1. Reservation Policy

A valid credit/debit card is required to confirm a booking.
Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation.
Special requests (e.g., sea view, extra beds) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

2.2. Payment Policy

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, bank transfers, and cash payments in euros (€).
A deposit may be required at the time of booking, depending on the selected rate plan.
The remaining balance is payable upon check-in unless stated otherwise.

2.3. Taxes & Fees

Prices include VAT (Value Added Tax) but may be subject to additional local government taxes.
The Greek Stayover Tax (per room per night) is payable upon arrival. The current rate will be provided at the time of booking.

Cancellation & Modification Policy

3.1. Flexible Rate Policy

Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
If canceled less than 14 days before arrival, the deposit will be non-refundable.

3.2. Non-Refundable Rate Policy

No refunds for cancellations, modifications, or no-shows.
Full payment is required at the time of booking.

3.3. No-Show Policy

If a guest does not check in on the scheduled arrival date, the full amount of the stay will be charged.

3.4. Early Departure

If a guest checks out earlier than the confirmed departure date, the hotel reserves the right to charge the full remaining balance.

4. Hotel Policies

4.1. Guest Conduct

Guests must respect hotel staff, other guests, and hotel property.
Loud noise or disruptive behavior is not allowed, especially between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or evict guests for violating hotel policies without a refund.

4.2. Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas.
Designated smoking areas are available.
A cleaning fee will be charged for violations.

4.3. Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed, except for certified service animals with prior notification.

4.4. Damage & Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage to the hotel property caused during their stay.
The hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

5. Facilities & Services

5.1. Swimming Pool Policy

Open 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Children must be supervised at all times.
No diving, running, or bringing outside food/drinks.

6. Special Requests & Events

Wedding & Event Bookings require a separate contract and deposit policy.
Group reservations (more than 5 rooms) are subject to different terms.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We collect personal data only for booking, guest experience, and marketing purposes.
Your data is protected under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Greek law.
Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Crete, Greece.
